Wyo Winds Soap is a small artisan soap company founded by owner Cathy Roberts whose passion for crafting high-quality, natural products, has lead her to create exceptional luxurious soaps that nourish your skin while bringing joy to your daily routine. Each soap bar reflects Cathy’s love for both the artisanship of soap making and the beauty of everyday life inspired by nature and her garden flowers in the Rocky Mountains Region.
Every ingredient is carefully considered when being added to our products. Each bar of soap is a careful blend of oils, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, or butters like shea butter, cocoa butter, goats milk, and essential oils for fragrance. All are natural ingredients derived directly from nature, plants, fruits, and minerals. All our soaps are cold pressed and handmade in small batches using a cold pressed process rooted in tradition called saponification.
Pure Essential Oils
We use beautiful essential oils like lemon, vanilla, huckleberry and others to enhance your experience and scent our soap bars naturally.
Oils
We use AVOCADO OIL, CASTOR OIL, COCONUT OIL, and OLIVE OIL. OLIVE OIL is in EVERY bar of soap for added moisturizing
Butters
We use SHEA BUTTER and COCOA BUTTER for our soaps.
Goat Milk
Goat milk soaps are popular because they are gentle on the skin, rich in nutrients, and help maintain the skin's natural moisture. They contain lactic acid, which gently exfoliates and can improve skin conditions like dryness and irritation. They are rich I fatty acids, and triglycerides which help hydrate the skin. Goat Milk is also Antibacterial and has Antifungal properties. Great for various skin types, especially those with dry, sensitive or eczema — prone skin.
Our Process is Saponification
Saponification is a chemical process that converts fats or oils into soap and glycerol. We also use Lye in our soap formula. Lye, or sodium hydroxide, is an essential ingredient in soap making, as it reacts with fats and oils through a process called saponification to create soap. Lye is an essential ingredient in all our soaps.
Shea Butter
Shea Butter is a natural fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. Rich in fatty acids and emollients to hydrate deeply into the skin. It is a source of vitamin A and E beneficial for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and sunburn. Shea Butter protects the skin from free radicals damage, reducing the signs of aging and wrinkles. It is hypoallergenic, safe for most skin and does not clog the pores.
